Hi. We are Harrigan & Crew Salon, a family own business in Montgomery Ohio. We are looking for a managing receptionist to coordinate our front desk, receptionists and keep the salon running smoothly. We need someone who is good at communicating with clients and stylists, some computer skills would be great but we will teach you our booking system. This job does require moving around the salon often, so you will not be stuck behind a desk. Reliability is a must.
Some of the job perks include hair care services including cutting and coloring.
This is not a full-time position we currently have three other receptionists who work between 10-12 hours a week. All are working or retired P&Gers. We have found that mature working women are the ideal match for us!
The position starts at $14.50 an hour with regular raises.

TODAY IS THE DAY! We are open for business. We really missed seeing our client/friends.
We have new rules put in place for both of our protection.
Please wear a face mask as we will be wearing one.
Please come alone to your appointment, less people for social distancing. Please wash your hands when you arrive. Please call from your car when you arrive. We will be limiting our blow dries. Please, if you have any symptoms please cancel and stay home.

It's Official!
We open for business on Fri May 15. All of our stylists will not be back by then but we will be contacting clients about upcoming appointments. We have a lot of guidelines to follow.
Client must wear masks. Only one client in the salon per hairdresser so colors will be processing either out front in a comfy chair spaced...you guessed it...6 feet apart or in their vehicle. Clients cannot bring additional people with them. We are all new at this and I'm sure as time progresses we will get more efficient at the new ways.

Hi Everybody,

As we all know Salons are really shut down until further notice. We are hoping its not a long time but who knows. Anyway, we are all in the same boat. We miss our clients/friends and cannot wait until we are all together again.

We will be trying to contact everyone who has appointments. We cannot reschedule but we can keep on eye on what's going on in the world around us AND when we get the all clear from the governor then please call! It will be a zoo so be patient. I know we will be working long hours to get everyone scheduled.

Good Morning, as I'm sure everyone knows the Governor of Ohio closed all Salons until further notice. If you have an appointment in the next two weeks it will be canceled and we will try to move it. I know that the Salon has rescheduled a lot of our clients already but if we missed your appointment please send us an email with your infro [email protected]
You can also leave a message but we will only check those periodically. We have planned to be closed for two weeks but if it continues longer than that we will have to comply. I guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Everyone...stay healthy!

Harrigan and Crew will be open for business. We ask that if you are feeling ill, Cancel your appt. If you have children at home please leave them at home. The less people in a small salon the better. If our hairdressers feel ill, we will cancel and try reschedule you at a later date.

This is new to all of us and I believe eventually we will be at home waiting for this to pass. Until then lets make this a safe place. All clients and hairdressers will wash their hand for the 20 sec required time before each client.

Hairdressers work on commission. This virus could be the end for our income for a while. Be patient, things will get back to normal. I personally cannot wait until that day.
