One thing I wish more massage clients knew… 👇

Actually… make that four things. 😅
If you’ve ever wondered how to get the most out of your massage, this post is for you. ⤵️

➡️ You don’t need to be in pain to book
➡️ It’s okay (and normal!) to feel sore afterward
➡️ Total silence during your session is totally fine
➡️ You’re always allowed to ask for adjustments

Swipe through to see what each one means — and why it matters for your comfort, results, and overall experience. 💆‍♀️✨

🫶 Which of these surprised you the most? Or which one do you wish others knew?

Is it okay to fall asleep during a massage… or is that awkward? 😴

This is one of the most common (and quietly worried-about) questions people have before or during a session. So let’s clear it up once and for all.

Falling asleep during a massage isn’t rude, embarrassing, or wasted time - it’s your body doing exactly what it needs in that moment.

☀️ AUGUST IS FILLING FAST! ☀️

Summer has a way of keeping us busy… vacations, pool days, sports, yard work, and soaking up every bit of sunshine. 🌿 But don’t forget to take care of you too.

If your body has been feeling tight, stressed, swollen, or just in need of a reset, I have a few openings left in August. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing massage, deep therapeutic work, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, a back facial, Reiki, or some much-needed self-care, I’d love to see you.

✨ Current August availability is listed in the photo.

These appointments tend to go quickly, so if one of these times works for you, grab it before it’s gone!

📲 Message me or book online to reserve your spot. I can’t wait to help you feel your best before summer slips away. 💛

You might be clenching your jaw and not even realize it. 😬

Jaw tension doesn’t always scream for attention…sometimes it whispers in ways you’d never expect.

Common signs you might be clenching or grinding:
🔹 Headaches
🔹 Stiff neck or shoulders
🔹 Earaches or ringing in the ears
🔹 Clicking or popping when you open your mouth
🔹 Waking up with facial tension or a sore jaw

Many people hold stress in their jaw without even noticing (especially while sleeping, driving, or focusing at a screen).

The good news?
Massage can help release the muscles around your TMJ (temporomandibular joint), reduce tension, and bring relief where you didn’t even realize you were holding stress.

✨ It's one of those “I had no idea how tight that was until you worked on it” moments.

Curious if jaw work might help you? Let's talk.

"If you want something done right, do it yourself."

Except for your massage. Let your massage therapist handle that. 🙋‍♀️

You can DIY a lot of things: your lawn, your tax return, your kid's science fair project... Your low back tension after the busy summer season? Not one of them.

Leave the knots to the professional. I've got openings coming up soon.

Vacation is supposed to rest you. and yet...

the long drive with your spine in a car seat for six hours.
the flight where your neck did something it's still apologizing for.
the hotel pillow situation.
the walking on every surface except a comfortable one.
the carrying luggage that was definitely too heavy.

vacation recovery is real, and your massage therapist is right here waiting to actually finish the job.

welcome home. 🧳

"Massage and a vacation won't solve all your problems."

Ok... but I'd like to find out for myself personally. 🏖️💆‍♀️

Look, I'm not saying a 60-minute massage erases stress from traffic, your group chat drama, whatever's happening at your job. But it's a pretty solid start, and I'm willing to do the research.

If you're willing to "do the research," I've got some openings coming up. Science waits for no one.

Embracing Your Unique Self: Overcoming Self-Consciousness

In the journey of self-acceptance, it's not uncommon to have moments of self-consciousness about certain aspects of ourselves. Some areas that might stir these feelings include:

1. Your Weight
2. Unwanted Body Hair
3. Scars
4. Acne or Other Skin Blemishes

It's important to remember that these feelings shouldn't deter you from seeking the care of a massage therapist. You are not alone in your concerns, and your well-being is of utmost importance. If you feel sensitive about a specific area, don't hesitate to communicate your preferences with your therapist. They can adjust their approach to ensure your comfort. Additionally, if you prefer, you can opt for a fully clothed massage to address your needs while feeling at ease.

Above all, please know that your therapist is here to provide a safe and judgment-free space. Your well-being and comfort are our top priorities, and we're committed to helping you feel at ease during your massage experience. Your uniqueness is something to be celebrated, and self-care knows no boundaries.

Self-compassion is simply giving the same kindness to ourselves that we give to others.

And yet, how many of us would book a massage for our best friend before we'd ever book one for ourselves?

You'll tell your friend to rest. To take the day off. To stop pushing through the pain in their body. But when it's you? Suddenly it's "I don't have time" or "it's not that bad."

If you've been running on empty, this is your reminder: you're allowed to take care of yourself the way you take care of everyone else.

Be your own best friend this week. Book the massage.
