A pelvic organ prolapse diagnosis can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't automatically mean surgery is your only option.

For many people with mild to moderate prolapse, conservative treatment can significantly improve symptoms, function, and quality of life.

Pelvic floor physical therapy may help you:
✨ Reduce feelings of pressure or heaviness
✨ Improve bladder and bowel symptoms
✨ Return to exercise and the activities you love
✨ Learn strategies to better support your pelvic floor throughout your day

We may also discuss options like:
• Pessary fitting (a removable support device)
• Breathing and pressure management
• Exercise modifications - not exercise avoidance
• Lifestyle and bowel habit changes
• Strengthening, coordination, and mobility tailored to your body

The goal isn't just to "live with it." The goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and supported in your body.

Every prolapse is different, and treatment should be too. If you've been told to "just wait until it's bad enough for surgery," know that there are evidence-based options available now.

📍If you're experiencing symptoms of prolapse, we're here to help you understand your options and create a plan that's right for you.
