Today I had one of those real barbershop conversations with a client Iâve known for many moons. Heâs been going back and forth about whether he wants to cut off his locs, and thatâs not a small decision. When youâve spent years growing your hair, thereâs history, memories, and a part of your identity tied into that journey.
We sat down and talked about something that applies to more than just hairâmaking major life decisions when youâre not 100% sure.
Sometimes the best move isnât to rush. Sometimes itâs okay to pause, think, pray, reflect, and make sure the decision youâre about to make is truly what you want. Whether itâs your hair, a relationship, a career move, or a life change, make sure youâre making the choice for the right reasons and not just because of a temporary feeling.
The barbershop has always been more than fades and haircuts. Itâs a place where real conversations happen, wisdom gets shared, and people work through lifeâs decisions.

Today was such a special day at the father-daughter dance for Bellevue here in Moreno Valley, California â¤ď¸
Paige Ramirez, being your dad is one of the greatest blessings God couldâve ever given me. Watching you smile, laugh, and enjoy these moments means everything to me. It feels like just yesterday you were a little girl holding my hand, and now youâre growing into such a beautiful, smart, strong young woman.
