Back when AI wasn't AI-ing, I made this pH scale...and it's been around!!!

Made it on my living room floor when I was helping to train new educators for a color company...

pH wasn't a topic we were covering all that well back then...

It's funny because we actually had a few stylists roll their eyes when we started teaching and talking about how important it was to understand it...that mentality SO was wild to me!

(And these were prominent peeps in that company too...sooo total side note here, but keep talking about things you think are important. Even IF they don't support you! Your voice matters...I know mine did, even tho I was a small fish in a big ol ocean! Ok...back to the main topic)

Things have definitely changed since then and we're SO glad!!

This chart is showing a nice basic range for pHs across typical products we use at the salon

This chart traveled across the country from one training to the other lol

It's pretty beat up at the moment 🤕 and we actually use a different version now...because when our visuals start getting taken and used in someone else's trainings without our consent, we typically go make another one 😒 (that happens way more than it should in our industry...but that’s another topic for another day)
