Fun fact: I’ve been doing Susan’s hair since 2017 when we both lived in Pittsburgh. 🖤💛 She ended up moving away to NC, and not long after, I moved to SC where she made the drive to come see me when it was possible. Flash forward, now we’re both living in SC and I get to see her on a regular basis again!

There’s something so special to me about the bond that forms over years of doing someone’s hair. Even after a long stretch apart, you can take one look at their hair and instantly remember how it moves, what it needs, and exactly how they like it. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job 🫶

When I started paying closer attention to the products I was using every day, I realized how many toxins I was actually exposing myself to. Toxins that are known carcinogens, endocrine disrupters and neurotoxins.
