Does getting your hair trimmed make it grow faster?

No- but it does make it grow healthier!

Hair grows from the scalp, so trimming the ends won’t speed up growth.

What trims do support is length retention .

Once split ends form, the only way to remove them is by cutting them off.

If split ends aren’t cut, they travel up the hair strand cause breakage - making length retention difficult.

This causes the illusion of hair growth coming to a standstill.
