I went foraging yesterday with the kids and we found beautiful plantain plants growing up all over the place.
We collected enough to make our infused oils for healing salves and teas. But we also were able to feed some to our pretty hens.
This batch will dry and in about a month I will have several jars of dry plantain leaf ,flower, and roots. I make a tea from the roots for my hens in fall and winter to give them an immunity boost and nutrients to rebuild after a season of egg laying.

It was a great day at market today. We will not be at the Le Vergn market next Saturday as they will be closed for the holiday. We are looking for another location and when we Have a for sure plan we will post it here for you.
The weather is supposed to be nice for market tomorrow. The oven is turning out some beautiful fresh breads for purchase tomorrow.
