Hi Parents and Families!

👏🏾Let’s talk about it, it’s story time!

Lice are so common, literally so many people have had this or know someone that has.

We just want you to know there is no reason to be ashamed or embarassed about these pests.

As a black woman, I really thought we couldn’t get lice. So, one day my son was going to town scratching his head which wasn’t normal at all. I lovingly said to him “Son, what’s going on with your head why are you scratching so much?” He yelled to me, “Mama, I can’t stop scratching!!!”

Y’all! I went to look in his head and lo and behold…. I saw a few nits(eggs) and actual lice!
It scared the mess out of me! I immediately went 🦍 💩 ! Well, first I started itching and feeling like things were crawling on me , then I realized his brother may have it , then I realized they’ve both been playing with the baby and OMG she must have it too! You know our minds go 1000 places and so yea …. Let me get back on track !!

I scoured the internet for a natural remedy and I found one…. And also found how and what to do to eliminate it from bedding , car, combs and brushes, etc….Luckily I was able to remove it over a course of a few days.

I’m saying all this to say , it’s OKAY!!

Lice doesn’t mean your home is dirty , doesn’t mean your sheets aren’t clean… it just simply means you’re a living human with blood!

Even if you do not have it, we can all stop the spread by taking preventative measures.

Remind your children to not share clothing. Such as scarves, coats, hats or barrettes with anyone.
Also remind them to not share combs, brushes or towels!

We here at I Remove Lice have first-experience with treating head lice. I literally know how it feels to just want this to be over with. We promise that we will ALWAYS care for your family like we care for our own. We are in this together!
