Nashville Facial Fascia Massage! (It's fun to say).
Yes! It's a thing! We all have fascia throughout our bodies. Yep, even our faces!
If you'd like to start having Facial Massage instead of botox and fillers, give me a shout.
If your 2 weeks out from fillers or botox, I'm happy to work with you, too.
This is actually footage of how slowly I work while using fascial therapy. (It's like watching paint dry)!
This client is a vocalist/musician who has a history of broken ribs. My intention is to effect the tissue surrounding his ribs, so they can move more freely while the diaphragm and lungs expand. Also, working the regions of the neck and face help him more comfortably move his mouth which allows him to perform his best while feeling and looking his best as well!
Having a "client centered practice" and not "memorization of steps" I adapt the concepts of fascial therapy for each client.

Breaking sauna rules... "no phones in sauna".
Fascia is devoted to doing it's job: holding things together. When it is traumatized , it changes from a fluid state to a solid state. In my experience, working slow and steady on fascia is very effective when attempting to "make a change" from the solid back to fluid state.
Whether I'm working on your feet or face... It's gonna be slow and steady.
Do you agree that St Bernards are devoted pets?

Breaking the sauna rules... and talking about fascia. There are different schools of approach to effecting change in it. I choose the school of slow and steady.
Maybe we need to get a St Bernard... but I think they are too hairy for us.

Degas knew massage was an art form... I believe fascial therapy, a form of massage, is an art form as well.
Thanks to , I have some new tools to work with in my practice.

There are a variety of modalities a therapist can use to effect change in the soft tissue of a client. My intention is to effect the connective tissue, aka fascia. This tissue runs from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. Having fascial work done will certainly change the way you feel, how the muscles "act" and can change the external appearance of the skin (from head to toe). However, you have to participate in the maintenance. I'm happy to help you your path to better health.

Here we go! I'm at the airport, tired, headed home as I welcome you to Nashville Facial, Fascial massage. Thanks to ; master educator in Facial, Fascial massage! She has given me new tools for my tool box.
Facial, Fascial massage is not only for aesthetics... just like any other fascia work I do, it encourages the tissue to glide more easily; think "TMJ" release, stress release, . Wanna learn more? Hit me up for an appointment.
I help people that have stress in their bodies. The massage table is where people slow down and talk. Ill listen to you and assess your movement... fascia needs repetition to make a change. So, be patient. Make plans to make a change.
