I have a lot of women reach out and ask about “Grey Blending” and what types of options they have when they start to notice greys coming in. Every person is different, and so there are multiple approaches. For Patty, she naturally has more greys around her face framing, and so my goal was to just enhance what is already happening with her color 🩶

To complete this fresh, modern take on Silver/Grey Blonde, we agreed on a major chop to give her hair bounce and a new life 🩶

Our first session together was all about level-setting, and finding the right balance for her 🤎 She wanted easy, pretty dimension that could be touched up maybe once or twice a year. We wanted to steer clear of anything remotely “stripe-y” or too yellow. Think creamy, Carmel latte highlights that add just enough pop when the sun hits them, or when curled.

This is the perfect example of “less is more” ✨ I did a halo placement and just focused on the areas around her face that would naturally get sun, and just brightened her up a bit! I also made sure to pop some foils around her nape so that she has some pretty detailed highlights when her hair is pulled up, or back in a clip. Those hairs at the nape are also exposed in the front when her hair is curled, so by including them in my foil work, her face is fully framed with pretty babylights ✨
