For many in the LGBTQ+ community, the greatest struggle was never simply how others saw you—it was how you saw yourself. Many of us spent years questioning our worth, hiding parts of who we are, or believing we were somehow less deserving of love, happiness, and belonging.

Pride Month is a reminder that there is nothing wrong with being who you are. It is about embracing yourself fully, extending that same grace to others, and recognizing that our differences are not flaws to overcome but gifts to celebrate.

This month is about love. Loving yourself. Loving your neighbor. Loving your community. Because true pride begins when we stop apologizing for who we are and start appreciating the value we have always possessed.
