The TSMSDC Education Foundation Impact

Education changes lives. Yet for many students, the rising cost of college places higher education out of reach.

The TSMSDC Education Foundation helps bridge that gap by providing tuition scholarships and expanding educational opportunities for deserving high school students in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools system.

Our mission is simple. Invest in students today so they can build stronger careers, stronger families, and stronger communities tomorrow.

Established in 1994 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the TSMSDC Education Foundation was created to support at-risk students who have the talent and determination to succeed but lack the financial resources to pursue a college education.

Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships to 414 students. These life-changing investments have been made possible through the generosity of corporate partners, community leaders, and individual donors who believe education creates opportunity.

Every scholarship represents more than financial assistance. It represents hope, access, and the chance for a student to pursue a brighter economic future without carrying the full burden of rising college costs.

Together, our scholarship programs and philanthropic initiatives continue to open doors, transform lives, and strengthen the next generation of leaders.
