Can’t help myself…and here I am again....leaking from the eyes like a faulty faucet at the mere sight of walking my daughter down this path. Evolution has no remedy for it, it is powerless facing joy and profound happiness that slipped past the defenses of one happy father turning him into a sentimental puddle in the cowboy boots.

The magic was here, a setting borrowed from a dream….THEY were wed! Surrounded by the most extraordinary mix of brilliant, gifted, gallant and bold guests, the charm and devotion made it not a ceremony but a conspiracy of love and joy! My hat off to “y’all”!❤️❤️❤️

In the best moments of life, civilization insists on asserting itself— and last night it did in the form of a wedding. My exceptional daughter married a brilliant man, both radiant and composed as though born to inhabit the very concept of love and grace . The guests - the most improbable congregation of firebrands, bon viveurs, and eccentrics, a cavalcade of luminous, beloved, devoted and disarmingly sincere characters who did not merely attend—they bore witness! There was laughter that verged on a multilingual debate, toasts that sparkled with equal parts of champagne and text, and dancing that, without doubt, offended gravity itself. If weddings are meant to be a celebration of not just love, but of wit, courage, and style—then this was a triumph of civilization over chaos.

To ALL who made it possible for us to witness the time where all the threads of affection, dedication, love and joy come together in one perfect weave. Thank you for helping create memories we will carry in our hearts forever and it was your presence, your kindness, your love and your unwavering support that helped make it all so incredibly beautiful! Your thoughtfulness, generosity and the grace with which you shared in our happiness made those days feel complete and extraordinary, something we will cherish for a lifetime! Thank you, deeply and sincerely with all our love and gratitude!!!

One of my favorite version of Mona Lisa by my dear friend French painter Lekhleti. Commissioned by the Arts Company in Nashville.

There are days we find it appropriate to say : We are brought into this world cold, weak, and helpless. Then it gets worse.
Actually, I was in a great mood while painting this. The inspiration comes in very unexpected moments, quietly and unpredictably. How depressing...:)
