This is one of the palettes used in the tutorial video. This is the Carlie Bybel Eyeshadow and Contour palette. This can be purchased on the BH cosmetics website for about 12 bucks. Normally my eyeshadow palettes range between $30 and $60, but I will say this one is very comparable to the quality of those I have paid more for . Here is a pic of the palette and swatches. One of the products used yesterday in the video...Too Faced candlelight. This is a great highlighter with just enough of the soft golden shimmer to really create a bright refreshed look.
You apply this product below the eyes and just above the cheek bone starting from inner portion of your face near the nose moving outward towards the hair line. I also like to use a highlighter down the bridge of my nose and lightly above the brows and center of the forehead.

I've been asked in the past to do a tutorial video on makeup techniques. I've never done it just because of fear really. The fear was not fueled by lack of confidence in my ability, but fear of putting myself out there to be judged. Today I decided to go ahead and get over that fear and try out doing a tutorial of sorts.
Like I said I've never done this before so yes the video is a little rough. My phone stopped recording half way through...the video went through the application of foundation and contouring and highlighting with powders.
If you have time to watch this please leave feedback letting me know your thoughts. If you have any questions please feel free to ask...ill try to answer them to the best of my ability...also if you feel so inclined feel free to share.
P.S I realize I obviously had no idea where the camera was faced. So when trying to show the product I was using to create this look, I completely failed. So if you would like to know what was used let me know.
