Love this trend🥹 When I was around 10, my mom gave my siblings and me journals to write down 100 wishes - looking back at them now - some were silly, some were sweet. Thank God “I wish I would make $8 an hour” came true😆

One that stood out was “I wish I would be a professional makeup artist” and it made me think how proud little me would have been to know that came true. I didn’t know it would lead to brow treatments but I’m very glad it did. Thank you to every client who has helped that little girl’s dreams come true💖

This one’s for the moms out there🫶🏻 A lot of times mature clients are worried about feeling uncomfortable being too done up and my favorite thing is seeing themselves look in the mirror and light up after their service💕

Top recommendations for mature skin:
🤎 Prep that skin! Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and lightly exfoliate if needed
🤎 Set expectations during skin prep and investigate what’s important to them when it comes to their look
🤎 Less is more - I love working in sheer layers to avoid accentuating fine lines and wrinkles
🤎 Creams and liquid products give a realistic skin like look and can be blended easily
🤎 Set lightly with powder and melt it down with a good setting spray
