Today, we honor Juneteenth and recognize its significance in celebrating freedom and equality. Our office is closed in observance of the holiday and will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is a reminder that every older adult deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Too many seniors experience abuse, neglect, isolation, or exploitation, often in silence. Today, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and supporting the older adults in our communities.

A simple check-in, a listening ear, or speaking up when something doesn't seem right can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help create a world where people of all ages feel safe, valued, and cared for.

Deodorant Drive Extended Through July!

The Floyd County Health Department’s Deodorant Drive has been extended through July 31 to support students in New Albany Floyd County Schools!

We are collecting new, unopened deodorant for students of all ages to help ensure they have access to basic hygiene items that support confidence, comfort, and success in the classroom.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Floyd County Health Department (1917 Bono Road, New Albany, IN)
🕒 Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
