Today marked the final day of operations for Black Hat Men’s Parlor, which is now permanently closed. I am relocating to Houston to embark on a new chapter in my life with my fiancée. I extend my sincerest gratitude to my clients, who have provided unwavering support throughout the years, including during the challenges posed by Covid, my ex's brain aneurysm, and my Dad's battle with cancer. Bidding farewell has been a difficult experience. I will deeply miss each and every one of my clients. Please do not hesitate to contact me for referrals regarding your grooming needs.

Next door to Wings and Rings!

I can’t express the importance of everyone knowing basic medical first aid from how to help a choking victim, CPR, strokes, seizures, burns, bites, people falling unconscious….anything and everything.

Literally this morning my first client seemed just fine when he came in and out of nowhere he passed out, I caught him in my arms before he fell out of the chair, I was alone in the shop. I immediately checked for a pulse and breathing (he had both but it was slow). Just seconds after this happened, one of my coworkers walked in, I immediately asked him to call 911 and get an ambulance. I started to rub my clients’ sternum while calling his name to wake him up. I finally came to just as the paramedics arrived.

Please, know the address and name of the place you are at and get trained on first aid! There are so many places that offer free training!

I pray that my client is doing well and makes a full recovery! Your thoughts and prayers for him and his family would be much appreciated.
