Here are some tips I wish I would have followed more strictly during my weight loss :)

✨ Prioritize High Protein Foods
- At the start I didn’t prioritize my protein goal. While I was loosing weight I was also losing muscle mass. Which could have been preserved if I prioritized my protein intake.

✨ Balance Strength Training and Cardio
- A collective mixture of strength training and cardio is important. Initially, I focused more on cardio which was a total mistake. Although cardio does help burn fat, strength training does too and helps maintain your muscle. So, it’s better to have a balance btw the two to tone, define and maintain as much muscle mass.

✨ Maintain a Consistent Eating Schedule
- Now this is very essential! I followed a scheduled eating plan during my whole weight loss. This means thinking ahead on what your day looks like and having a consistent schedule/routine on when you eat. This allows you to stay fueled throughout your day even thought you’re eating less calories. On the contrary, Inconsistent eating routines can lead to binges, over eating and constantly feeling hungry.

✨ Allow Flexibility
- This is where the major difference happens. Each day is not the same and unpredictable. You should be flexible while still implementing consistency. Unpredictable events happen all the time , so don’t let that stop you from reaching your goals! Be flexible enough so you can modify/ adjust your Workout, Eating Routine, Split, and Time to accommodate and still remain consistent. Life long habits require flexibility and that’s the true way to reach and maintain your goals ✨
