A reminder to message me any questions you want answered. I will get them. A few more questions to ponder and get answers to:

Is flammable refrigerant being used?

Do we have a PFAS risk if there’s a fire?

Is there a posted evacuation plan of 5 miles?

Is the whole structure bermed so the noise goes up??

Answers to come

Here’s another event speaking on data centers you may wish to attend. I have offered our facility for them to come here and speak at a future date.

my questions

Sounds far-fetched, but some data centers have tried to get nuclear power. Can we be assured that doesnt happen here?

How much time does the fire dept need to be prepared for this facility, and will they be given that time?

Air cooled chillers are noisier than liquid cooled, what is proposed?

If liquid, will there be glycol added?

How many roof top condensers will be running at any given time?

Ive had 20k in electrical repairs this month alone from surges/spikes. Will that get better or worse?

Has the builder built these before and were they completed on time and on budget?

Will there be a single point of accountability for the township?

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder if some Democrats or socialists are using the data center issue as a convenient vehicle for the recall effort of the Lyon Township board. It seems possible they see an opportunity to capitalize on residents' frustration and replace the current board with candidates who are more politically aligned with them.

Especially when they mix in the salary raise with all this recalling. Disingenuous.

You know my history with the Township. Thats water under the bridge so long ago. I know you're probably surprised at my sticking up for them but right is right.

Here is our list of panelists for Thursday's meeting on the data center:

David Edelbute – Licking County Administrator (Columbus, OH) Chief County Administrator for Licking County Government under the direction of the Board of Commissioners. Licking County has roughly 10 operational data centers, with at least 12 massive campuses under construction or planned. Because large tech hubs cross the border into New Albany, many data centers span the Franklin-Licking county line.
