"Sulfate-free" and "silicone-free" sound great, until you read the rest of the label. We're talking endocrine disruptors, palm-oil derivatives, child and prison labor sourcing, microplastics, and ingredients that are actively toxic to aquatic life.

The greenwashing is loud. The supply chain damage is quiet. Both end up on your scalp, slowly destroying your hair, and in the water.

I've got a blog post breaking this all down link in bio.

Someone returned a bottle of Nair to Amazon. Packaged it as shampoo in a real shampoo bottle, and it got put back into circulation.
Hair care on Amazon is such a gamble.

Amazon doesn't vet third-party sellers. There's no system checking whether a product has been opened, refilled, or sitting expired in a warehouse. And professional hair products are one of the most counterfeited categories on the platform.

This is why I don't sell through Amazon, and why I'd rather you didn't buy your hair care there either.

When you order through my shop, it ships directly from Eufora's warehouse to your door. Sealed. Guaranteed. Exactly what it's supposed to be. Same 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Same products you'd grab off my shelf.

Same products. Same guarantee. And it actually supports this salon instead of a billionaire's rocket hobby.

Bezos is fine. He doesn't need your shampoo money.

From frizz to definition

(It's close enough alliteration)

She said this was her first curl specialist cut. She had a lot of frizz in the top layer, some minor heat damage, and the front didn't curl quite as well as the back.

Taking a good look, part of it was that her hair was seemingly all one length, and all that weight was right in front weighing her down.

The solution was simple enough, remove the weight!

(Also the split ends, it had been a while 😅)

Get Ready With Me: My New Skin Ritual ft. Eufora Aloetherapyâ„¢

Starting unconventionally, I used Eufora's Illuminate Shine Mist as a makeup remover, and before you say anything, hear me out.,

Illuminate is formulated with squalane and a blend of grape seed, rice bran, and meadowfoam seed oils. That's essentially the ingredient profile of a high-end cleansing oil. Emollient, lipid-rich, and excellent at dissolving makeup without stripping. It's a hair product, yes. It also works exceptionally well on skin, and it's safe for this use. Wicked little multitasker.

Then I moved into the new Aloetherapyâ„¢ Phytoactive Body Care ritual, which is where things got serious.

If you already know why we carry Eufora for your hair, the philosophy here is identical: every formula bases in Certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel. Not water, aloe!! Infused with Aloe Stem Cell technology that amplifies aloe's natural potency up to 1000x. You're not buying a hydration promise. You're buying a formula where the base ingredient is already doing the work before anything else is added.

The ritual:

Body Polish: physical and active exfoliants together. Lactic, malic, and glycolic acids clear dead cells and drive cell turnover while supporting collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production. Use with the Japanese washcloth in the shower. Post-shower skin felt like a different organ.

Body Serum: 5% niacinamide for visible tone and texture refinement, plus a plant-based retinol alternative that promotes cell renewal without the irritation synthetic retinol brings. Applied to damp skin so it could actually absorb. One use, visible difference.

Lip Renewal: Aloe Stem Cells, peptides, nourishing oils. Strengthens the skin barrier, softens fine lines, and delivers lasting moisture. Lips feel fuller and smoother, from hydration, not filler.

Moisture Mist: the closer. Hair and body formula, aloe-based, instant hydration reset. Water lily, oat extracts, panthenol. I mist this everywhere... post-shower, post-beach, mid-flight. It also layers beautifully over the serum, and makeup to seal everything in.

Same brand, same philosophy, now head to toe.

I carry the full Aloetherapy line in the salon

Am I your people?

"I've tried everything. Nothing works on my curls. I think my hair is just broken."

I hear this almost every week. And I believe every single person who says it, they've watched the videos, bought the products, followed the routines. They've genuinely tried.

But when I start asking the right questions, there's almost always one core issue nobody spotted early. And instead of fixing it, everything that came after just tried to work around it. Product on top of product. Technique on top of technique. The hair got more confused, not less.

Your curls aren't broken. They might just need someone to ask the right questions for once, and actually listen to the answers.

If "I've tried everything and nothing works" sounds familiar, it might be time to book the appointment.

You might be closer to your best curl day than you think. 🌀

Most salons rush. Every haircut takes one hour. There might be the option to add time for length or density, but not both. Most stylists don't actually educate you on what you're doing that is working against you, or what you should be focused on doing instead and develop a plan to move forward in a significant way.

And if your hair is curly, and dense, and long, and thick, *and* you need a home care education walk through?

That definitely won't fit in the hour slot.

I do things differently. My curl cut includes:

a thorough consultation so we're on the same page about your history and your hair needs,
a clarifying treatment
a deep conditioning treatment,
a precision cut,
and a styling tutorial.

I also email you with the plan of what you need to truly move forward.

If that sounds like what you need, come find me in New Orleans. I'd love to work with you.
