Designing and putting together bouquets is not the la-dee-da fun and romance one might think.ย
Sometimes the roses are blown open, the blue isnโt blue enough, the greenery isnโt popping the way I want it to, and then I finish the bouquet andโฆ it looks different from all the others.ย
Making the client happy and ensuring they get what they ask for takes time, ingredient changes, stepping away, and coming back refreshed.ย

Fun fact: Spring Street Garden, a small flower shop with a huge output in New York City, the place where I honed my craft, served as the inspiration for ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ชป
Now, both my warehouse and flower shop have plants and flowers growing on-site, just like at Spring Street Garden, because I canโt resist that special magic of cutting a flower fresh for a bouquet ๐ฅฐ

The historic romance of has created a canvas for so many gorgeous weddings Iโve done over the years.
Leaning into that romance can look totally different for each couple.
For Margaret and Rylandโs wedding, romance meant transforming the venue into a Secret Garden of sorts: foliage-focused, thoughtfully floral, step-back-in-time romance, with Latrobeโs as its enchanting capsule. ๐ฟ
