So incredibly impressed with my good friend’s first dip into the world of toy production! knocks it out of the park in a tremendous way with his “Complete and utter BSTRD” - P**s off wankers! This was produced by and man I can say enough of these two entities!

Hell Yes-feratu! Can’t say how excited it was for me to score and then receive this awesome Nosferatu from (Mike Biggs)! 50 of these first run colorway tiki mugs went up for sale and sold out in an incredible 30 seconds! I’m blessed beyond belief to have this! Love and all he produces and this guy will go on display with my growing family of Mike’s Tikis! Last two photos courtesy of and I included several of my other tikis and a zombie b**g as well! Still need to post individual photos of the other mugs - check out the limited edition Mars Attacks Tiki which I was also very fortunate to score! Praying to get one of Mike’s shrunken head pipes! Check out his profile for some incredible art!

For today’s second post I present a shrunken head planter designed and created by the very talented - love these and the design is outrageously realistic! I have a microphone wind screen resting in mine till I find a small plant to fill the space - last two photos from ‘s profile.

A sad goodbye to our beloved Daisy Schmekels - Very difficult morning for us. She was only with us for a few years but in that time we realized that she was the little ball of love that we needed - as much in service to us as we were to her. Thank you for getting us through a new move in to our home and the following pandemic/quarantine. Don’t know how things would have been without my Schmekels. Everyone loved to pet my Schmekels - it’s going to be hard without her around. See you on the other side kiddo ❤️

Love this OG white soft vinyl “Bone Ghost” by ! These sold out awhile back and although I have two other variants, this is the one I was waiting to get. It’s glows beautifully and has the perfect thickness to the mold and even distribution of what lever makes it glow. No soft spots and well designed and executed! Thank you so much for killing it with your artwork! The first two photos are from the second two are my own.

Had the incredible fortune to see Victor Castillo] ‘s “Come Play With Us” at MORTAL MACHINE] when I stopped in to say hello to the gallery’s most awesome proprietor and all around cool guy, on my way to some Christmas Caroling in Jackson Square. This is Victor Castillo] ‘s first life-size fiberglass sculpture that was over a year in the making.
Based on his painting Come Play With Us, inspired by the movie The Shining with a touch from The Wizard of Oz, the installation is an uncanny mix of pop culture and classical art, a masterful take on Hollywood that is Víctor's signature. This piece won’t be here in New Orleans for long so get your tail over to MORTAL MACHINE] and see this incredible piece of work!

“Now it is a fact that there was nothing in particular about the knocker on the door, except that it was very large. “ A Christmas Carol – Charles Dickens As large as the knocker was is artwork! Thanks again Michael and here are a few of my own shots of Jacob Marley as he sits on my wall. Can’t say enough about the joy this brings me every day since his arrival! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and G.d bless us, everyone!

Saddened to hear of the death of Anne Rice at the age of 80 - as a New Orleans resident for the last two plus decades, and her neighbor for several years before she moved to LA (after the passing of her husband), I can tell you that she was an icon for the city and a pillar of the community. She grew up here and I knew her cousin who remembered playing with her in Lafayette cemetery # 1 and told great stories about working for her at St. Elizabeth’s (the property she’d host her vampire balls in). Interview with a Vampire is a favorite of mine and the film rocks too! She will be missed. Thank you for all you continue to do for the city of New Orleans Mrs. Rice and may your blessed souls rest eternally in peace. ❤️

Happy Holidays to all! Getting ready for Christmas and everyone is gather ‘round my tree! First up is - Luke Welch’s “Baba Yaga” figure in green/yellow marble - she flies in with her great iron mortar, driving it with her pestle and sweeping away her trail with her broom to steal and eat small children - yummy! Luke always kills it with his sculpts and designs! Next up is Jamie D. Macfarlane - who designed this “Morlock” from the 1960 production of H.G. Wells’ “The Time Machine” directed by George Pal and starring Rod Taylor - cast in soft vinyl by Paul J and sold by Paul Schiola of this toy is something I’ve been waiting for since who doesn’t love an underground dwelling futuristic cannibal? I love the design (hoping to eventually get one in glow in the dark) and ex*****on of this guy! This Tiffany blue version was released at designercon 2021 () and I was lucky to get one before they sold out! Finally, from and is the Bumble Killer Carnival Punk! Another favorite character from my childhood who always makes an appearance around this time of the year 🤗 Visit these awesome artists and keep the spirit of the holidays going - Merry Holidays to all, each and everyone of us!
