Shampooing my last client of the day and I promise I’m almost always listening to something else..

Today I had Kryptonite on repeat 🤭🤷🏽‍♀️

What can I say?? She got a fire shampoo lol

There are some rooms that remind you you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

I’m still thinking about the Black HAIRitage Dinner hosted by Firstline Brands. 🤎✨

To sit in a room filled with brilliant women—founders, executives, innovators, and leaders—and realize that despite our different paths, we all shared a salon story… it was powerful. Whether it was a grandmother pressing our hair, a mom braiding it before school, or remembering that first hot comb experience, our stories connected us long before our careers ever did.

I left inspired.

Inspired by the conversations.
Inspired by the vision.
Inspired by the women who are building businesses, creating opportunities, and securing deals at levels I once only dreamed about.

It reminded me that there’s no limit to where this industry can take us when purpose meets preparation.

Thank you to Firstline Brands for the invitation and for creating such a meaningful evening celebrating 40 years of Black beauty, culture, and legacy. It was truly an honor to be in that room.

And one last thing… that cheesecake deserved its own award. 😂🍰

Here’s to dreaming bigger, serving my community even better, and saying “yes” to every room I’m blessed enough to walk into. 🤍

After putting these products to the test, I can definitely say I have a few favorites. 👏🏽✨

The Soft Serve+ Conditioner was probably the biggest surprise for me. If you wear raw Burmese curly hair, then you already know detangling can take a little patience. But this conditioner had so much slip and was so rich that I was able to detangle my bundles in the shower without spending forever in there (and without using up all my hot water 😂).

I also used the Wash Cycle+ Shampoo on both my bundles and my natural hair, and I loved that it cleansed my hair without leaving it feeling stripped or dry.

After rinsing, I applied the Everything Serum, followed it with my usual mousse and curl-defining products, wrapped my hair overnight, and this was the result. The next morning, I added just a little more serum, laid my edges, and headed out the door.

My curls held up all weekend! 💛 I only misted my hair with a little water here and there to refresh the curls and keep the volume exactly where I wanted it.

Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with my first experience using Grow Good Beauty . Thank you for trusting me with these products—I can’t wait to keep testing them and share more with you all!

ESSENCE Weekend looked a little different for me this year… and honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. 🤍✨

I spent less time partying and more time pouring into my business.

I had the opportunity to work with Grow Good Beauty , attend an incredible private dinner hosted by Firstline Brands , connect with some amazingly talented women in business, meet photographers, videographers, and creatives, enjoy the concerts, eat at one of my favorite restaurants, and still made time to hit the city up with one of my girls.

This weekend reminded me that sometimes the biggest wins aren’t always the loudest. They’re the conversations, the relationships, and the opportunities that continue long after the weekend is over.
