One of the first things I ask new clients about is their water… and most people have never even thought about it.

But your water affects everything.

If your color fades fast, your hair feels rough, frizzy, dull, or like your products stopped working… your water might be why.

Hard water leaves minerals—especially calcium—on the hair every time you wash 🫠That buildup sits underneath the cuticle, making it harder for moisture and color to hold on.

A shower filter helps, but I usually recommend pairing it with a decalcifying treatment too.

One of my favorites is the Kérastase Première line ✨It helps remove buildup and leaves the hair softer, shinier, and way less stressed.

Have you ever moved apartments in NYC and suddenly your hair felt completely different? 😅👇🏽

I almost stopped doing hair because of it 🫣😂

I had never worn extensions before, and once I started offering them, I wanted to try them for myself.

So I got my first set of wefts installed…
and it hurt 😳

Turns out, it was just one bead that needed a small adjustment—and instant relief.

But that moment taught me real quick how painful one wrong bead can be.

That’s why I focus on:
✨ Proper placement
✨ Balanced weight
✨ Finding the right method for your hair and lifestyle

Because extensions should feel comfortable—not something you’re trying to tolerate.

Tell me—have you ever had a painful install? 👇🏽

Starting to see grays? You’ve got options. 🤍✨

You don’t have to jump straight into full coverage color.

Gray blending is one of my favorite ways to ease into color—it offers 50% to 70% coverage, depending on what you’re looking for.

From subtle and soft… to more camouflaged and controlled—
it’s all about what feels right for you.

Think:
✨ Soft highlights
✨ Low-maintenance color
✨ A grow-out that feels graceful, not stressful

You have more options than you think—
and we can find the one that fits your lifestyle and your vibe 💁🏽‍♀️

And a wrong haircut?
Will have you questioning everything 😳

If your hair feels like it won’t cooperate,
flipping in the wrong places, falling flat, not sitting right…

it might not be your hair.

It might be the cut.

The right haircut should work with your texture, your density, your lifestyle,
not against it.

Because when the cut is right?
Your hair finally makes sense.

Tell me—have you ever had a haircut that just didn’t feel like you? 👇🏽

Why does my hair never look like this when I do it myself?” 😬

I hear this all the time.

And listen… it’s not just you.
I do this all day 🤭

It’s a mix of the right products, the right amount, and the right tools.
That’s what makes the difference.

But let me give you a few simple things you can do at home:

✨ Start by squeezing out as much water as possible.
Too much water = longer dry time and more frizz.

✨ Use enough product (this is where most people miss).
Fine hair: dime-size
Medium: nickel
Thick/coarse: quarter

✨ Section your hair.
Too much hair at once = tired arms and a blowout that won’t last 😅

And yes… the best blow-dry will always come from your stylist 😉

But these little shifts? They’ll get you a lot closer 💁🏽‍♀️✨

“I think it still looks fine” usually means it’s grown out just enough to feel normal…
but underneath, things have shifted.

Around 6–8 weeks:
✨ Beads move
✨ Tension shifts
✨ The weight drops lower than it should

You might not feel it yet… but your follicles do.

Your scalp doesn’t care if it still looks cute in photos 😏

It cares about weight and placement.

Not sure if you’ve waited too long?
Tell me how many weeks you’re at—I’ll be honest 💁🏽‍♀️✨

Spring in NYC means I’m walking more and sweating a little more…

Which means your scalp care matters even more now.

Healthy installs require healthy skin.

Extensions don’t change that.

If you’re stretching your wash days because you’re nervous about your rows,

You might be creating irritation underneath the wefts.

Think about it

sweat, buildup, dry shampoo… it sits there.

Then it gets itchy… then we start scratching… and now we’re in a cycle 😩

✨ A clean scalp = a strong foundation

✨ A strong foundation = better installs, better retention, healthier hair

Extensions are a luxury service—but scalp care is still the priority.

If you want your installs to look good and your scalp to feel good,

We have to take care of what’s underneath.

Comment “SCALP” and I’ll send you my simple between-appointment care checklist 💁🏽‍♀️✨

“Dirty hair colors better.”

“Cutting your hair makes it grow faster.”

“Oil fixes everything.”

We’ve all heard these… but let’s clear a few things up.

✨ Dirty hair before color isn’t about better results
it’s about protecting your scalp.

Make sure you don’t shampoo 2 days before your appointment.

✨ Haircuts don’t make your hair grow faster.
They do keep your ends looking fresh, healthy, and not breaking off.

✨ And oil?
Great for shine and softness—but it’s not fixing everything.

There’s a lot of advice out there… especially in NYC where everyone’s got an opinion 😏
But not all of it is doing your hair any favors.

Let’s leave the myths behind and focus on what actually works 💁🏽‍♀️✨

02/16/2026

Extensions don’t have to be intimidating.

And you definitely don’t have to commit to waist-length hair either 😌

If they’ve been living rent-free in your head, let’s just talk about it.

Here’s what I want you to know:

✨ Extensions aren’t just for super-long hair.

They can add fullness. Body. That little extra something your blowout’s been missing.

✨ They’re a fun way to play with color — without fully committing to a big change.

✨ And most importantly? There isn’t just one method.

Tape-ins, hand-tied, keratin bonds… we can find what works for your hair and your lifestyle.

No pressure. No dramatic transformation required.

Just information and options.

If you’re curious, I’m always here to chat it through 💁🏽‍♀️✨

What I Wish Every NYC Client Knew Before Booking a Haircut ✂️

Booking a haircut in this city is an investment, in your time and your look.

So let’s make it count.

Before you sit in my chair, here are three things that make everything smoother:

✨ You don’t need to know the exact name of the cut.

You don’t have to say “long layered butterfly hybrid something.” That’s my job.

✨ Photos are your best friend.

Show me what you love… and what you don’t love. That’s how we avoid surprises.

✨ Be honest about your routine.

If you’re hopping on the train at 7am and not touching a blowdryer? Tell me.

Your cut should match your real life, not your fantasy Pinterest board.

Simple things. Huge difference in your results.

NYC moves fast. Your hair appointment shouldn’t feel rushed or confusing.

Tell me — have you ever felt unsure about booking a cut or color? 👇🏽
