My beautiful client used to get a red/brown single process. She finally got tired of having it touched up every few weeks. Two months ago she got a balayage done. Now, she came to me for a haircut and asked to be brighter and more vibrant, since that one lightening session two months ago still left her hair pretty dark.
Previously colored hair doesn't lift as easily as virgin hair. Curly hair is very delicate and that's why it's important to do lightening process in multiple sessions to keep the curls healthy ➿️❤️➿️
