Sambharo (Warm Coleslaw Salad) 🥕🥬
A quick, flavorful Gujarati-style side dish that pairs well with any meal.
Ingredients:
2 cups coleslaw mix (cabbage & carrot)
1 tsp oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
6–8 curry leaves
1–2 green chilies, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped (optional)
A pinch of turmeric
Salt to taste
Lemon juice (optional)
Method: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chilies, and garlic (if using). Stir in turmeric, then add the coleslaw mix and salt. Toss everything together and cook for just 1–2 minutes, keeping it slightly crunchy. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
