🌿 ART OF KIMONO TOUR 2025 begins – from New York to Arkansas 🌿

It is a great honor to present The Art of Kimono at esteemed universities and cultural festivals across Arkansas this April.

Rooted in the traditions of Japanese dance and kimono culture, my work seeks to explore how color, movement, and history can serve as bridges—connecting people, cultures, and generations.

Through lectures, workshops, and performances, I hope to offer a deeper understanding of the kimono—not only as an aesthetic tradition, but as a living form of cultural expression that resonates globally.

この春、アーカンソー州の大学および文化祭にて、「着物の芸術」をテーマに講演・ワークショップ・パフォーマンスを行います。

日本の伝統舞踊と着物文化に根差した表現を通して、色彩や動き、歴史がどのようにして「文化の架け橋」となり得るのかを探求します。

着物は単なる衣装ではなく、時を超えて語りかける“生きた芸術”。
その奥深さと可能性を、アメリカの皆さまと共有できることを楽しみにしております。

4月スタートの方はなんと、Japan Parade出演に向けて「自分で着物を着られるようになる」という大きな目標を掲げ、楽しく丁寧に指導いたします。
色彩学マスターMasaeが監修するこのコースは、着付けの技術にとどまらず、彩り豊かな知識、海外に住む日本人として着物を着る時に知っておきたい知識、美と感性もたっぷり詰まったスペシャルプログラム。

最近は、学校での訪問授業、講演がメインになっており、久しぶりにグループレッスン！ワイワイ楽しみながら技術を身につけます。
