How to Prep for Your Lip Blush Appointment 👄

As your permanent makeup artist, I want to ensure you get the best results from your lip blush treatment. I’ve prepared a simple yet essential guide to help you properly prepare for your appointment. 💝

1) Hydrate Your Lips – Starting at least 5 days before your appointment, ensure your lips are moisturized. Proper hydration is crucial for smooth pigment application and uniform healing.

2) Exfoliate Gently – A soft lip scrub helps remove dead skin. After showering, when lips are soft, use a gentle scrub focusing on the middle of the bottom lip. Exfoliating helps prepare the surface for a more even application of pigment.

3) Avoid Dry, Damaged Lips - If your lips are too dry, cracked, or blistered on the day of the appointment, I may have to reschedule. Healthy lips give the best results!

4) Avoid Blood Thinners – For at least 24 hours before your appointment, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and medications like aspirin that can thin the blood.

5) Cold Sore Prevention - If you’re prone to cold sores, consult your doctor for antiviral medication. This precaution helps prevent flare-ups, which could interfere with healing.

With just a little preparation, you’ll walk away with beautifully enhanced lips that boost your confidence and turn heads. Get ready to love your lips like never before! 💋✨
