Vinnie is just getting more handsome with time but for me, aging has been an adjustment. Some days I barely recognize myself, as wrong as it is we were taught that as our beauty fades so does our value. Even as we work to change the beauty standard we also have to change our own self-image which can be the most challenging. I’m still learning every day how to love myself, my wrinkles, my sun spots, and my stretch marks from carrying my two beautiful boys.

It’s a journey but I’m getting there 🤍
