Good morning! โ๏ธ This part of the sun salutation is so beautiful and a great daily reminder to give thanks. With our hectic lifestyles, we tend to forget to take a moment to be gracious to the universe for all that we have in our lives. If you don't have what you want in your life, you have to ask yourself - why? Then change your mindset! Every morning say thanks for 3 things - big or small. I'm a firm believer that positivity breed positivity, you'll be happier and more positive. ๐
(If you have a bad back or unable to slightly arch back - don't. Standing perfectly straight is just as rewarding.)

Mussels and potatoes in a tomato garlic wine sauce. ๐ฏ Eat as a soup or add pasta, brown rice or quinoa, so many options. Delightful!

Adding a bit of spice to your food is actually really healthy. This wasabi sauce is so delicious without the calories or sugar that I incorporate it into a lot of my meals. The benefits of spicy foods is well-known... great appetite suppressant because it keeps you satisfied longer and it's proven to help you live longer, so.... enjoy the heat! ๐

Hard boil eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅare a great source of protein when pressed for time in the morning or even as an afternoon snack. (I ALWAYS buy free range/cage free brown eggs.) I think I've perfected it - ๐ฉโ๐ณ - boil for 7 mins then let it sit in the hot water for 1 more min then quickly cool with cold water. How does everyone else make them?

Mr Cashew, oh how I love thee. ๐ Nuts are one of the best snacks! Not only filling and satisfying, they are packed with heart-healthy, protein, disease-fighting, vitamins and minerals. Just remember, only a handful at a time. ๐

Straight lines in yoga are beautiful (flat back is always important regardless if you're a beginner or expert) BUT NEVER EVER over-extend yourself. You'll only cause yourself injury; it's not worth it! ๐ Plus, yoga is about slow steady growth by repetition with the focus on your controlled inhalation and exhalation as breathing is key to going deeper into poses as it relaxes and calms your muscles/body. Remember to use focus breathing in your daily lives when stressed or sad, you'll be amazed how easily you're able to cope with issues. You'll be healthier and happier. ๐๐๐

Who doesn't love potatoes, especially home fries? However, they can leave you feeling a bit heavy. This morning instead of a potato side with scrambled eggs, I stepped outside the box and opted for a light crispy sautรฉed celery ginger side. Active day!? Bring it!! โญ๏ธโก๏ธโญ๏ธ
