We performed keratopigmentation for this patient five years ago, in June 2021. She enjoyed her new eye color for years.
Recently, she returned to our clinic for a routine follow-up appointment. During her visit, she learned about our Olive Green color, a beautiful shade developed in collaboration with .keratopigmentation . Since Olive Green was not available at the time of her original procedure, she decided to have a small touch-up and transform her Forest Green eyes into Olive Green.
Here is her story:
KERATO: How was your recovery? Was it painful? What about light sensitivity? Can you tell us about your experience?
PATIENT: Overall, my experience was excellent. The recovery process was very smooth. I didn’t have any pain, blurry vision, or any of the complications people often worry about. A lot of people would ask me, “Aren’t you afraid you’re going to go blind?” But that was never my experience.
The only side effect I noticed was some temporary light sensitivity, which improved as my eyes healed. Other than that, everything went very well.
I received so many compliments on my eye color over the years, and I was very happy with the result. The only reason I’m back today is because Olive Green wasn’t available when I had my original procedure, and now I have the opportunity to get the exact shade I always wanted.
One month ago, our patient chose Magical Grey and loved the result. But sometimes a new vision inspires a new change. Today, he returned to transform his eyes once again—this time to our Olive Green shade.
