I really enjoyed working on this one. What an awesome GLAM department to be a part of. Isn’t the team of hairstylist the most important part of any project? 🤪🤣Haha, this show has an amazing group of writers, directors, cast and crew. It really takes more people and departments than anyone really thinks.

I have a question for all you divas — If we’re being completely honest & fully transparent, why is it that we sometimes have a hard time balancing being proud and supportive of our sisters when they achieve great success, with feelings of jealousy?
I have been a hairstylist since I was 12, and I have watched hundreds of my clients rise and fall from all levels of succes! And —nothing makes me sadder than to see how many people pretend to be cheerleading on the outside, while secretly hoping and praying they fail! As someone who has also been on the receiving end of such jealously, I just want to know why we can’t just be excited to see each other win?
What happened to... when One of us makes it, we ALL make it?!

How many of you are stressed out getting on zoom for that meeting? Maybe you just need to keep your social media current, but daily photos and videos have become nerve-racking. We still have work to do where creating a respectful and open world for natural hair is concerned. Protection against discrimination based on hair texture and protective styles is needed in every state. This is so hard for people who don’t have to deal with it to understand.
Noon today:
The workday is complete and now it is time to work on my balancing act. Thanks to my big sister Jovita Oruwari and her Apple Watch challenge, I have incorporated working out into my workday. Definitely closing my rings before I head home.
