Aloe Vera and Ice for Open Pores

Apply some aloe vera gel on the face and let it dry. Afterwards, glide some ice cubes on it. Aloe vera and ice both have properties which help tighten and close pores and prevent it from clogging.

Waterproof Makeup Mist

In a spray bottle, mix aloe vera juice, glycerine, a few drops of desired essential oil and distilled water. Shake well and spray onto face after applying makeup. The mixture will waterproof makeup and help makeup stay in place.

Candle Wax for Soft Hands

Spray some water on hands followed by a few drops of essential oil of your choice. Dip both hands on the melted candles, put on gloves and wait for 15 minutes before removing the wax and rinsing hands. This will remove dry patches and keep hands moisturized.

Oils in Bath for Dry Skin

One way to battle dry skin is to put oils on your bath. Add a few drops of your preferred oil into your lukewarm water and soak in it for 10 to 15 minutes. Some oils that work best for dry skin are: lavender, sandalwood, myrrh, carrot seed, jasmine and ylang-ylang.

Vitamin C for Tighter Skin

Whether orally or directly applied to the skin, vitamin C helps tighten the skin. It helps in repairing, healing and preventing damaged and dry skin thus making skin appear tightened and glowing.

Soak your beauty blender in water then squeeze out the excess before putting foundation. A damp beauty blender results in a streak-free foundation that makes the skin look dewy, fresh and glowing.

Homemade Deodorant

Melt coconut oil and shea butter in a jar then add baking soda and tea tree oil. Pour mixture into a jar or container and let it sit overnight before using. Coconut oil and tea tree oil has antifungal and antimicrobial properties that will battle stink while baking soda neutralizes the odor.
