I am looking to staff a therapist/social worker to work with my , 31 year old sister with ASD and mental retardation. Essentially looking for someone that can work as a community habilitation specialist/ respite /educator. Some activities include working on social skills, educational goals, science, math etc, working on behavioral goals, physical activity and activities that foster independence.
We work with an agency that allows us to staff our own support. If interested we can set up a call in the near future to discuss further. We live in Manhattan and would need someone reliable, willing to commute. right now we are able to offer $30/hr at 25 hours max a week we are flexible with scheduling including the weekends. If you are not interested but know someone who will be a great fit please do not hesitate to refer anyone.
My sister really needs support in the shape of a companion /friend, she enjoys painting and doing yoga and shopping. Would love any support
