Don’t you just love detangling all that hair ?
Said no one ever !
This step has to be the most dreadful in my opinion, as a young girl and now a full adult.
Over the years I have tried so many products and techniques to make this step easier and here are a few that has helped me along the way.
- Detangle while damp, you don’t want to pull on your hair while it’s soaking wet nor dry both can lead to breakage.
- comb in small sections may have you thinking , won’t that take longer , actually you’re saving yourself so much more time and effort.
- Adding a leave in conditioner with slip has saved me everytime.
- Start at the ends and slowly work your way up to the top, this will cause less friction and less painful especially if you are anything like me tinder headed

So here are 3 ways to speed up the curl-drying process WITHOUT the frizz! ⬇️
1. Apply your products on damp hair. This takes out the water-weight immediately.
2. Use a microfiber towel to remove excess water after styling.
3. Wet Plop in a shower cap or with a t-shirt to encourage curl formation from the root.
