My Dad would have wanted very much for me to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving, so I want to extend a heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you all from him. These past couple of years have been so difficult, and I certainly have been reflecting upon the subject of being thankful and when I think of Dad’s wake and funeral I think of all of you, and in a way you brought him back to life for 24 hours. Aside from our family, you knew him best and your outpouring of love and memories and stories really helped. Because of your loving words we were able to remember Sal, instead of Sal when he was sick, and it made those first days tolerable. Thank you for that, and if you ever think of Sal and want to tell us a story we may not know or just remind us of a time he went above and beyond, feel free to, we would love to hear them. Be well, and Happy Thanksgiving, Lisa, Lenore and Vin.

We lost Sal a week ago. We just want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, your kind words and your stories. Mourning Sal is going to be a difficult burden that will last our whole lives, but we are so proud of the human being he was and for all of the lives he touched. Thank you for being there for us and for sharing in his love.

The obituary has yet to post, but we want to inform as many of you as possible, please share with anyone you think will want to know who isn't on facebook. The wake will be held at Cusimano and Russo Funeral Home Wednesday, September 14th from 3 PM until 8 PM. The Funeral will be at the Church of Saints Simon and Jude Thursday, September 15th at 9:45 AM.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our beloved Sal. He went very peacfully surrounded by Lenore, Vincent and Lisa. We will post again once we know all of the arrangements. Thank you everyone for all of the cards, texts and phone calls over this past year and a half. Sal loved you all very much. Vital Image was never a job for him, it was a meeting place filled with all his friends and you happened to get a great haircut while talking with a great man.
