across the strong lands of 🇨🇮 Ivory Coast, 🇬🇭 Ghana, and 🇨🇲 Cameroon.
I carry the heartbeat of West and Central Africa 🌍 — centuries of power, wisdom, and survival.

My ancestors were not just names on papers or numbers on ships ⛓️.
They were builders of kingdoms 👑, healers 🪄, story keepers 📖, warriors 🛡️.
They knew the language of the earth 🌱 and the rhythm of the drum 🥁.
They were taken, but they were never broken 💔➡️💪🏾.
Their blood flowed across oceans 🌊 and planted new roots in the deep soil of the American South 🪴.

From the fields of North Carolina to the heart of Mississippi 🌾,
from Alabama to Virginia 🌳 — they rose.
Enslaved, but never erased.
They built the foundation this country stands on 🏛️.
And through every storm ⛈️, they whispered to the future… “We will endure.” 🕊️

I am that future 🌟.
The strength they prayed for 🙏🏽.
The answered prayer they couldn’t yet see.

In my veins, there is more than pain — there is legacy.
There is the 🔥 fire of Africa,
the 💪🏽 resilience of the South,
and yes, the 🌿 traces of Europe too — a reminder that my story is layered, complicated, and real.
But no matter how the story was written, I own it now 🖤✍🏽

I walk with the spirit of kings and queens 👑 who crossed rivers barefoot,
of women who sang through the night just to keep their children’s names alive 👶🏽🎶.
Their blood is my armor 🛡️.
Their faith is my foundation 🙌🏽.
Their journey is the reason I rise with power in my chest 🚀.

I am not lost ❌.
I am the continuation 🔗.
I am the living proof that we are still here ✊🏽.
And from me, new stories will grow 🌱📖.
