Monday’s!!! Am I right!!
Color isn’t a shade decision.
It’s a structural decision.
Depth creates density.
Light creates movement.
Placement creates architecture.
Not every head needs more brightness.
Some need better design.
Standards matter.
In color.
In scalp health.
In longevity.
This series is about the discipline behind beautiful hair,
the decisions no one sees,
the consistency most people skip,
and the biology that doesn’t negotiate with trends.
Great hair isn’t accidental.
It’s built.
Welcome to The Standards Series.

Hair resilience isn’t built through hacks or quick fixes.
It’s built quietly, through consistency, stability, and respect for biology.
The strongest hair I see isn’t reactive.
It’s maintained.
Trends come and go.
Biology keeps the score.
Shedding rarely means something just went wrong.
What you’re seeing today usually began weeks ago — long before the hair fell.
Stress, illness, hormones, shifts in routine. The follicle already made its move.
The biggest mistake?
Trying to fix it too fast.
Overcorrecting doesn’t calm the cycle, it often keeps it unsettled.
Hair doesn’t respond well to panic. It responds to consistency.
Sometimes shedding isn’t a warning.
It’s just the echo of something that’s already passed.
Calm > chaos.
Always.
Healthy looking hair and healthy hair aren’t the same thing.
Shine is surface behavior.
Strength lives deeper.
When hair breaks, it rarely happens suddenly, it’s usually the end of accumulated stress that went unnoticed.
The goal isn’t just glossy hair.
It’s hair that can actually withstand life.

Twenty years.
Fifteen in New York.
Thirty-five doing what I love.
Nothing is built alone.
Some things only exist because someone believes alongside you.
Grateful. Always.
Hello, 2026.

My collaboration with OGX began about 18 months ago with a single sentence.
“You have to let your scalp breathe.”
That idea evolved through close work on formulation, and it’s gratifying to now see the result out in the world.
