Hello family,
A cancellation fee is imposed as a small compensation for our empty seat and our idle time. I personally am strict with mine because I give my clients the luxury of never waiting to be served. Their time is usually scheduled just for them with maybe one client having another service occasionally.
As my clients know and are a witness to is haven't canceled on anyone in over 25 years regardless of my needs or how I feel. (I don't get sick)
A confirmation call is a courtesy not a requirement. Stylists have dozens of clients to remember and clients only have one to remember.
Weather that affects everyone is of course an exception.
Once in a blue moon there will be that client that feels they don't want to consider my time or inconvenience, to them I say, I only want certain types of people in my life, peace out!
Airlines, hotels, doctors, dentist all impose cancellation fees for empty seats. Some have the gall to change full price, some hairstylists too.
To that I say I have clients who pay the full service in the hundreds sometimes if they can't make it, far above my cancellation fee, just because they genuinely regret the inconvenience.
Always have people in your life that value you!
The reason my new guests spend so much time on my feed and go way back is my body of work is so extensive!
I could never do the same thing all day to every client I'd probably do something else if I had to.
Remember that the blessing is having a hairstylist that has no limits with YOUR hair.
