We are now heading into an administration that sows division, racism, and bigotry, and to instill laws and policies that will only benefit a very select few! The so called trickle down effect of economy will never work! So the lie most told themselves to vote for this way of life that will harm so many of our loved ones will be soon evident.

Human rights are women's rights, and women's rights are human rights. Let us not forget that among those rights are the right to speak freely and the right to be heard.

[Why I've been quiet] Many of you know my mother passed away in 2016, you watched me live through it and it took a lot to feel semi normal again. Well, life has lifed once again and my father passed away on 1/24/2024. Today is mom's birthday and also marks 3 months since dad left us. I never thought I'd be in my 30s and not have them. It's been very hard, you get stuck in a functional freeze while the rest of the world goes on with their lives. Grief isn't easy to explain and truly no one knows how it feels until they have to live it. People will send condolences in the moment but never check in later on when it's needed the most. This trapped grief is love with nowhere to go so you start to internalize it. You stop wanting to do everyday things, cry, sleep more, cry even more, and get lost in your thoughts and anxiety. My only peace of mind is that they're together now and hope they watch over us and keep us safe.

To top it all off (you know bc you cant catch a break) I got ill days after dad's cremation causing me pain for months since and not feeling like I'm going to pass out. Urgent care visit led to hospital visit which led to specialist after specialist, a s**t ton of exams and medications. And I'm tired - in all aspects. Before my dad died I had a heartfelt talk with him (one that I've needed my entire life). He asked me to start taking care of myself because I focused so much on taking care of others. He said that he didnt want me to live a sick life. I always pushed myself aside because he was my first priority for the last 8 years. And here I am. Now I think maybe all this was him nudging me from above to put that into action. So that's where I currently am. Figuring things out. Putting my peace, mind, body, soul and health first before all else. Aside from trying to keep my mind at peace that also meant taking a hit in business (once again) for months.

Life doesn't prepare you for these types of things and it hits you all at once attacking your physical, mental and emotional health. But what I've learned is that just have to see it through, wake up everyday and just try at least a little bit to feel ok. I have some bad days here and there but also some ok days. And for those ok days I'm very grateful, and I'm trying. I've had to make lifestyle changes but I'm ok with that because I know it benefits me in the long run. And I will get back to feeling 100% one day, slowly, but surely.

I apologize again to those I had to cancel or decline for services. Thank you for all for understanding. And thank you to the wonderful artists that helped my clients out for me.

That being said, I'm here. I haven't given up just yet so please don't give up on me. Please be patient with me and I look forward to seeing your beautiful faces (in person) once again. And if I don't that is ok also. Please let this be a reminder to take care of yourself because no one else really can. And yes, there may be a select few (you know who you are) that are there for you to support or be with you but they can't do the healing for you. So please don't lose track of yourself and what makes you happy. Thanks for reading - Love you all ❤️
