Noach Dear, former NYC councilman and district judge has passed away as a result of COVID-19.

This is such sad news. Noach was a champion, a fighter for his people and all of his constituents. He especially cared for the voiceless and powerless, and dedicated his every single day to making the world a better place.

He will be sorely missed. BDE

PS: For those who think this virus is no big deal, think again, because although you may be immune, your parents, friends, or neighbors may not be and you’re putting their lives at risk unnecessarily.

This virus is an attack on entire communities; only communal action can stem the tide.
