🌿 botanical perfume 🌿 skincare 🌿 tea 🌿 www.marbleandmilkweed.com Marble & Milkweed is inspired by the poetry inherent in any well-crafted thing.

It's also brought to you by the cool, smooth skin of my clawfoot bathtub in the kitchen on Rivington Street, in New York City's Lower East Side, where the healing powers of water serve both as refuge and as muse. The scientific name of milkweed's genus is Asclepius, named after the Greek god of medicine and healing. In Hindu mythology it is believed that the universe was created by a god drunk on

new in the shop, a very special & luxurious limited-edition offering: our jasmine & pomelo green tea 🌿

a gorgeously fragrant organic jasmine green tea made from specially selected tea leaves harvested in the early spring in Jing Gu, Yunnan, roasted, cooled and rolled to perfection, mingles with hand-cut organic pomelo rind for a delicately floral blend with a hint of bright citrus 🌟

this is a very, very small batch, and perfect for these early spring days. i recommend brewing each serving twice to fully appreciate the character of the tea 🫖

junipers have been finding me this winter. these branches came down in the blizzard yesterday along the garden fence. this is our native Juniperus virginiana, commonly known as Eastern Red Cedar.

i find that junipers make the most beautiful incense, no processing needed. I’ve been letting it dry and keeping a sprig on a bed of sand in a little ceramic dish. just light the end and let it smolder (with supervision) for a few moments to enjoy the scent.

let me know if you’d like a sprig and I’ll tuck it into your next order for you...
