“Wire Trippin & iinevitable Descending figure” . After Marcel Duchamp ‘s N**e descending down a staircase 1912….as well as the amazing work of who captures the breath & essence of movement being evoked , such a fleeting moment that only exists within the present & creates record that unity’s time & space an analog version of time lapse or long exposure . These artists works inspired what created in it #6 “Wire we dancing on air?” Wire Sculpture: Discarded steal Wire salvaged & repurposed into A sculpture and then photographed . Creating an alchemical movement study. A transfiguration taking scrap wire into a Sculpture then Photographed & layered upon itself resulted in these intimate dialogues created between an object & its weight & density as it is fused within the realms of ethereal weightlessness. Inspired by early works by Calder & Klee , in which there observations & experimentation on the ways this Material which is in essence line & expressions through movement & my personal obsession with line and the esthetic Surrounding a dancer as they holds there space something hard wired into my being has resulted in this series . The unexpected synthesis of knowledge and experimentation
