Top three tips for creating an optimal work environment!👇

1️⃣Have a designated work area: with the shift in working remotely vs in an office, you may not have a designated space set up for working from home. I know the couch can be tempting, but having a space specifically for working will help improve your focus and signify separation from your work life vs your home life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣Ambiance: make sure your ambiance is pleasing! Good lighting, balancing colors, plants, aromatherapy, and even music are all ways to help improve the setting and mood of your workspace.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣Take breaks: whether it’s drinking tea outside, going for a walk, or simply sitting in another room for five minutes with your eyes closed - breaks allow your body and mind to reset.

Have you ever tried stream of conscious writing??⬇️

Grab your journal, get comfortable, and set a timer for five minutes. Use this time to write without stopping – not censoring any thoughts, not worrying if anything makes sense, just writing whatever goes through your head.

Once the timer goes off, look at what you wrote – without any judgment! Is there a common theme amongst what you have expressed? What is the dominant emotion or message that is getting across?

This is a perfect way to see how our minds produce a constant stream of thoughts. Use this practice to let all the “clutter” out, or to reflect in a detached state.

As you enjoy it, extend your flow to 10-20 minutes and see what comes out of your detached self – with no expectations!

Fire sheds light on illusions and allows us freedom by burning past ties. It has the power to transform old and stagnant energies into fuel for your Purpose.

A wonderful way to connect with the fire element is to have a fire ceremony.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The ceremony can take place in a fire pit outside, next to your fireplace inside, or even with a candle if that's all you have.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Grab three pieces of paper. Take one of the pieces of paper and write down all that you wish to release. Next, offer the paper to the fire and watch the flames consume it. As the paper burns, feel what you have written release from your body simultaneously.

Grab the second piece of paper and write all that you wish to bring into your life. Connect with the fire and offer your paper as fuel.

Lastly, on the third piece of paper write all for which you are grateful. When you are ready, offer it to the fire as a way of expressing your thanks.

Musical expression is a wonderful way to let go of the perfectionist within you and step out of your comfort zone.🥁🥁🥁

We tend to avoid things because we are afraid of messing up or being judged by others – try not to get stuck in your head and just go for it! Do not be afraid to tap off rhythm or screech on accident, this is where your cultivated self-love comes in.

Music is fun and even more enjoyable when explored with others, so find a friend or two or even a group to play with to make it more meaningful – having a playful partner/accountability buddy is always a plus.

Reconnect with the magnificence of nature by bringing awareness to each of your senses while immersed in the elements.✨

Choose a place to walk without distractions and practice becoming fully present. So often we may go on walks and listen to podcasts, or call a friend, or listen to music, and we aren’t intentionally connecting with the land around us.

Allow this to be a meditative practice and a soul-reset. Engage each one of your senses individually, and then all at once. How amazed at the world can you become? How full of wonder and appreciation?

Experience the sacredness all around you as you tap into your full sensory potential.🌟

Agni is the force residing in the body that creates digestion - it is your internal fire.🔥🔥🔥

Agni transforms everything from one state to another: food to energy, experiences to memories, emotions to expressions. We need healthy agni in order to transform and sustain our bodies.

In relation to food, agni is key. If your agni is too low or too high, it can result in undigested foods which then leads to toxic build-up within the system.

You can think of agni like a campfire: two important factors to maintaining a fire are air and wood. Air is needed to spark and fan the fire, wood is needed to provide fuel. If we fan the fire too much or too little, it will go out. And if we don’t have enough wood to burn or put in too much too soon, it will go out.

Our digestive fire is similar; we must have a balanced amount of each in order to sustain it. Food is the fuel, and air is what stokes digestion. When our agni is balanced, we are able to fully digest our food and maintain health in the body.🤸

It can be easy to mindlessly consume things here & there - snacks, coffees, desserts – without truly being conscious of it.

Bring awareness to your eating habits to discover what needs to adjust in your relationship with food by starting a food journal!

Some questions that will help you explore your eating habits:

🔹Do you eat at the same times daily?
🔹How many hours are between each meal?
🔹Do you tend to overeat or under-eat?
🔹Do you consume more processed foods or more whole foods?
🔹What is your emotional state when you eat your meals?

It may seem daunting to bring this much attention to an activity that you may have previously been unconscious of – but it will provide insight into how to have a healthy relationship with your food!

🔸High in antioxidants

Our favorite turmeric latte recipe comes from :

• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1/2 tsp powdered ginger and cinnamon
• Dash of sea salt and pepper
• 1 tbs coconut oil
• Sweetener of choice

Fill your mug with hot water. Pour water and all ingredients into a blender and blend for 30 seconds to a minute. Viola!✨

• spend time in nature
