1.What’s your skin type ?
Many clients already know their skin type and how their skin behaves throughout the day. This question just helps me understand your skin and determine how to have your makeup last longer. Who better to ask than the person who owns it.

2.Do you have anything on your face currently?
Many clients have a skincare routine they already follow. If they don’t have a skincare routine then it tells me how to begin my makeup process with you.

3.Have you ever had your makeup done professionally before ?
I ask this to understand what you want to see in the mirror once makeup is done. I apply makeup for it to last all day which means I need to apply primers, all day wear foundations/concealers and sprays even to get a natural look.

4.Do you wear makeup on a regular basis?Knowing this helps me determine what you may or may not like. A person who doesn’t wear makeup usually doesn’t experiment with colors or may not want to. This isn’t always the case but for a lot of people it can be.

5.Do you have any inspirational photos or looks you saved ?
Many times clients have an inspirational photo or look that they are going for. This takes out the guessing game on what you would want. I may not get the same exact look due to skin tone, eye shape and so forth but I guarantee I will get as close to it as possible.

6.Is there anything you like more of or don’t like at all?
I ask this because if a client doesn’t like something and I decide to put it then it takes up time in adjusting it. Knowing in advance just helps the process for me to finish quicker and on time.

7.What is the event? What are you wearing ?
Many times I can help you come up with a look if you haven’t already. Many times clients say you can do whatever you like you are the professional. I do love that answer, but knowing the event, the theme and what you’re wearing can help me make a better decision on how your makeup should look.
