Sometimes jiu jitsu isn't kind 🤷
Just wasn't my time (again) but that's okay. I know I'm better than what was represented on the mat and I have found a team that I wouldn't trade.
They sat with me through my weight cut and kept me level headed and I'm just grateful to be able to continue on with this very rocky relationship I have with jiu jitsu.
But I love the art and I live to fight another day ☺️

I don't think I would have made it through that cut if you didn't stop me from running out the sauna 🤦 and of course all the fabulous training.

The disappointment runs deep this time around. I haven't cried about jiu jitsu in a long time but this really got to me.
