Man… time really flies.

It’s been over 10 years since I started this barber journey, and today was a full-circle moment. This was one of my clients from back in my early shop days—life happened, we lost contact—but to see how much he’s grown, and for him to still come back and sit in my chair…

That meant something.

Moments like this remind me it’s deeper than just haircuts. It’s relationships, it’s trust, it’s community.

Grateful for the journey. Grateful for the people who never forget where it started. 🙏🏽✂️

Flava In Ya Hair teamed up with to bless our community with free haircuts and free books for our youth. Watching kids walk out confident and excited to read was a reminder that the barbershop can be more than just a place for a cut—it can be a place where minds grow too.

We wish more people understood the impact of putting a book in a child’s hands right here in the barbershop. The conversations, the curiosity, the pride—it mattered.

To kick off the new year we’re giving away free cuts for kids 8years old and under.

The holidays are out the way and now it’s time to get back to the grind. Kids haircuts might be the last thing on the priority list at this point so we’re here to help.

The FIYH squad is ready to give out a unlimited amount of haircuts as long as you are in the building between 12-4pm Monday, January 19th, 2026
