Hello Makeup friends -
I know it's been quiet from me in a long while, but it's not because I haven't been working towards something!
Sending out word that I just got my first gig on an independent feature length film as Key Hair and Makeup Artist, and I think back that all your encouragement and support have helped keep pushing me forward and I thank you all!!

Saturdays at 4:30pm to 6pm from March 11 to April 1, l'm excited to present my first Makeup Workshop series, Mingle & Makeup. Location, Ripley Grier, 520 8th Avenue, Studio 16I. Limit 8 students per class.

I'll demonstrate products, tools and techniques you need to apply your basic makeup with ease and confidence.

The complete 4-class series is $125, but you can also take the individual classes for $40.

Each class will include a snack and beverage, resource lists and guides, and a take-away gift at the finish.

Services Angels MakeUp by Almyra offers a range of makeup services, as well as basic hair styling and photographic services.

Annette's Gallery is an example of a personal/portrait makeup and photo shoot.

The theme started off bo***ir but the resulting photos were multi-functional in that we could isolate her head shots - it helped that Annette is a natural beauty and model!! She taught me a thing or two about working the camera!!

Such a makeup and shoot may involve a prep day, but the shoot itself is 1 to 1.5 hours for makeup and setup, and about 2 hours for a shoot with up to 3 different looks.

Part of the makeup/photography package is 3 fully retouched photos for your use, and 3 added unretouched photos. Additional retouched photos may be requested for an addtional cost.

The package starts at $400 for a 4 hour session with makeup, photography and photo retouching.

(Test day, additional shoot time and photo retouching are added costs.)

Something to make us laugh - of all the things we women do to make ourselves feel good, laughter has got to be right up there!!
