August coming to an end that usually means guests start moving in to their fall hair

Richer, darker, warmer

I’m so here for it!!

Meaning the hair colors , not fall 😡

I wish it could be summer forever

Am I the weird mom who doesn’t want my kids to go back to school???

I honestly feel like life is so much more chill and relaxed

School time is like beat the clock everyday

Anyway im getting off track lol

I transitioned her from a highlights wearing 2 rows of extensions to this deeper coffee color with only 1 row!!

Social media is the beauty industry’s business card

I built my extension business on posting for years and getting my extension work to reach clients locally, NJ, Brooklyn, Long Island, Manhattan and I even had a client fly in from Puerto Rico once

It’s an incredible tool but also can be a second job

Doing complete transformations only to realize at the end ”oh s**t I forgot the before picture! “
Or I forgot to set up my camera to record the process

These last few months I just decided to get back to basics and just live in the moment at work and my family life
Without worrying about documenting every little thing for social media

Truthfully I was getting a little burnt out

But now that I’ve filled my cup a bit
I’m ready to start posting all the beautiful ladies and their amazing transformations

Here’s one from the archives that I actually did remember to document 😉

But the amazing after makes up for it

Not to be dramatic but….

The sun ☀️ being out has changed my life!

Slowly coming out of hibernation and I feel like a new person!!!

I feel a new season in the weather and a new season of life

I’ve never seen a system so customizable and a class that divulged all their secrets to make these hair pieces look as natural as possible

I’m so happy there’s something I can offer guests something they never felt was possible, something that can make them feel like themselves again

Hi I’m Danielle owner and extension specialist at Style by Danielle

I’m coming up on my 30yr anniversary in the hair industry and 25 yrs doing hair extensions

In 2015 I decided to give up every other service and only offer hair extensions..it was the best decision I ever made for myself and my guests

I love making women feel confident and happy

I’m a wife and mom of 3 kids 👧🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 that’s my biggest accomplishment in life

They are my life!
I was once told we’re so much more than a wife and a mother and yes that’s true! We should never lose who we are

I’ve built a pretty successful business on my own while having children

but at this stage of mine and their lives I’m running around with them for school, sports and friends when I’m not working.I try to be there for every bit of their childhood, it goes by so fast 💨 I want them@to remember me always being there so….. they will always come first

When I have time to myself I love going to Pilates, keeping my sourdough starter Jésus alive, catching up on Netflix shows and scrolling IG for new educators

I love music , specifically 90s hip hop, R&B and dance house music ..think Sound Factory late 90s

I love to stay up on the newest trends while still having that old school foundation..I guess thats the Sagittarius in me , always curious and wanting to learn more

I’m pretty simple but yet slightly high maintenance..I like the finer things in life but have no problem putting sweats on and eating at Applebees lol

Gwen first came to me in 2015-16..She was always a beautiful blonde with beautiful extensions
In the last 7yrs she has moved a few times and had to use a few different stylists for color and extensions resulting in inconsistent color and extension match.

She was going to be back on the east coast and reached out to me asking if we can do something
When she came in for her appointment I noticed she had some very warm spots and some blonde spots but her hair was fragile

I wanted to avoid lightening her hair and adding more stress so I opted for a deeper blonde and adding extensions to make up for most of the color work

This has been a hack we use at the salon when trying to keep and regain the health and integrity of our guests who have damaged or over processed hair that needs a little TLC

How lucky am I !

I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist when I was 5yrs old

It never changed as I grew and experienced new things in life

Ppl would try to talk me out of it or make it seem like it was a career for the lost and uneducated

But I didn’t care

I knew I loved it !

What I didn’t know was the impact I was going to have on so many woman’s lives

I was going to help them get their confidence back after
Child birth
Cancer treatments
Aging
Autoimmune disorder
Thyroid issues
Bad hair cuts
Breakage from bad highlights
Breakage from a poor extension installation
Born with naturally fine hair
Or just being a woman who wants to do something for themselves to feel good

So how lucky am I that I get to do what I love while helping you love yourself !
